About RoadSafe Westgate
RoadSafe Westgate Community Road Safety Council Inc has been actively involved in advocating road safety since 1990, and operates within the municipalities of Hobsons Bay, Maribyrnong, Melton and Wyndham. The RoadSafe Westgate Community Road Safety Council’s mission is to assist in achieving a sustainable reduction in the incidence and severity of road crashes by facilitating the implementation of effective road safety countermeasures through collaborative arrangements with all relevant stakeholders.
RoadSafe Westgate has very strong advocacy programs which utilises the co-operation of our media partners, The Star Weekly Newspaper Group and community radio station Stereo 974. These partners are active in the promotion of local community awareness on road safety throughout the community.
"RoadSafe Westgate is a community group that educates, advocates and promotes road safety to reduce road trauma and save lives."
